A radio sales job executive is responsible for developing, closing and maintaining advertising accounts for radio stations. The sales person may try to generate revenue through selling various advertising tools like on air promotions, radio advertising packages and sponsorships of programs. Growing and developing new advertising briefs in an effective and timely manner may also be part of the job. Other duties include preparing and doing follow up on media schedules, production briefs and proposals and developing and completing all advertising and pricing documentation and sales reports.
Additionally, the applicant must also possess good presentation, negotiation, organizational and communication skills.
